"New numbered limited edition double-A side 7″ single from precocious power trio Gaffa Tape Sandy, featuring furious post-punk polemic Meat Head – a blistering diatribe against idiot men, from a band unafraid of alienating up to half their audience. Meat Head is a glorious, uninhibited rant aimed at the meathead male mindset. It's a song for a time when, 100 years after the women's suffrage movement won the right to vote for (some) women, a gammon-faced septuagenarian can block a bill to criminalise upskirting on “a matter of principle”, without any sense of irony."

about
Meat Head was written as an attack on the type of mind-sets people harbour which involve believing that they somehow own or have the right to the body of another person.
The song is intended to be a pointed finger, an accusation and a vexed comment aimed towards reckless attitudes that exacerbate rape culture. It’s a topic we feel strongly about, and so wanted to perform with passion and indignation.
lyrics
Get out of my bed, you don't have a place beside me.
What kind of tricks were those, were you trying to hypnotise me.
This house, this temple, is a castle of guilt.
No one else but me was ever there when it was built.
You're feeling down on yourself, but I don't care.
You're feeling down on yourself, but I don't care.
You're too drunk to dance!
You’re too drunk to dance!
That makes you the worst kind criminal.
Just wait 'till they catch you.
You’ve got no excuse, don’t try to make an alibi.
You stand with your tendency to acidify.
No is not an answer that is open to debate.
My body is my body it’s not yours to confiscate.
We shouldn’t live in an age where you can break someone and get
away with it.
I’ll scream ’till my throat rips if you get away from this.
You're too drunk to dance!
You’re too drunk to dance!
That makes you the worst kind criminal.
Just wait 'till they catch you.
